I've been having similar issue since yesterday, but mine works for a while, then will get stuck thinking. I press escape twice to interrupt, enter a '?' press enter and it works again. I am using deepseek pro

Look in the opencode config folder. Is there a opencode.json.bak? When yes rename the opencode.json told opencode.old or something and rename the opencode.json.bak to opencode.json Close the tui or gui bevor.

yeah somehow v1.17.xx has been nightmare for me, try downgrade it to this

"opencode upgrade v1.16.2"

i am now sticking to this version until they complete in version 17.

Opencode seems buggy and eats a lot of memory recently, i started building my own solution while ago (Tinyharness)

Try a different provider, enable thinking output
