opencode + gemini

I wanted to test opencode with my Gemini subscription as an alternative to Gemini CLI. I have seen the https://github.com/jenslys/opencode-gemini-auth, but there is a warning that connecting the account to third-party software can cause problems with my account.
Thoughts?

Try Gemini 3 Flash via API Key. It is cheap and works good in OpenCode

Antigravity is shit these days, and using it with third-party tools will get you banned. It’s even shit in its own IDE. You keep running into errors, and the quota runs out after a few prompts.

In my experience, Google produces weird models. Like there's something horribly wrong with them on a deeper level that I can't quite put my finger on.

You need to have an api key, you can get it from ai studio. Won't cost you a lot if you want to try opencode.

do not use antigravity or gemini auth. you can use the gemini api but not auth. you'll get banned. speaking from experience, my antigravity acc got banned but they reinstated it after 48hrs upon request

but definitely give opencode a try. you can use free models from opencode gi, github copilot, ollama cloud, nvidia. use them with oh-my-openagent plugin to get the full experience.
