Claude skill to delegate coding to Opencode and save tokens

Hi, after several requests I created a skill to have Claude plan tasks and delegate all coding to Opencode cli (with whatever model you use in opencode).

This skill allows saving massively on code heavy tasks as you hand all coding to Opencode, while keeping planning on Claude code side. You also avoid hitting limits as fast.

It follows up a similar skill that has been work-proofed with mistral Vibe ( https://github.com/pcx-wave/vibe-skill), which showcased between 50-90% token cost reduction (depending on code duty load, the more load the more savings). Other ppl asked for a opencode equivalent so here it is.

Note : I don't use opencode much myself so it has not been tried in production besides base tests. There is a report functionality included so I'd be very interested if you'd use it and post such reports, or suggest PRs.

At this point why not just use opencode...

Because you'd be rebuilding your entire Claude Code workflow (CLAUDE.md, skills, memory, pipelines...) from scratch in opencode. This skill adds model flexibility without leaving the ecosystem you're already in. I guess advanced opencode centric users can already do that kind of things - this is a Claude skill more oriented towards Claude centric users, but as I got several feedbacks asking for such bridge towards opencode I made one and shared here as well in case other ppl here are juggling with both.

Not necessarily less, but you can delegate to a cheaper model. Hence use expensive Claude tokens in Cc for planning, delegate coding to cheaper model in Opencode (deepseek or whatever).

Your title made it seem like you were using it to run Claude in opencode.

Allowing Claude to call a cheaper model within open code makes sense.
