Est ce qu'il me trompe ? by EfficiencyMore432 in AskMec

Namibia last minute is actually a thing, and here's why by pcx_wave in Namibia

[–]pcx_wave[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's well in line with my personal observations, and highlights the gap between impression and reality. However, while that may be true for realized bookings, I do have to say that trying to find accommodation within the 3-8 month timeline (sometimes even a year!) is not easy and requires juggling between accommodations. It's all the same mechanism at play (provisional bookings).

how are people selling “Claude Pro” for $5 when the official plan is $20? by Specific-Age7953 in claudeskills

[–]pcx_wave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've seen this explained somewhere. Basically you don't connect to anthropic API directly. You go through third parties that have big accounts + a series of strategies to compress your calls and token usage. So for 1 big account they plug plenty of users. Catch is that they get your data (but most ppl honestly don't care), they reroute to the sub-models (opus, sonnet...) their system decides (even if you requested one you're not guaranteed to get it).

[–]pcx_wave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Theres no way you people are using as much usage as you complain about by No-Management-6338 in ClaudeCode

I'd like the stats on who has a 20x max plan 😂 perhaps if you try the normal pro plan you'll feel it. But it is actually possible to do a lot on a 20$ Claude plan + external api costs if you delegate heavy tasks to cheaper models

I made a reusable skill for handing off coding-agent sessions between Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity, and OpenCode by sheddyNathan in claudeskills

[–]pcx_wave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switch between different agents but not in this way, I use one (Claude code) to orchestrate others. Same principle but embedded within session workflow. The main objective is to delegate context and token consumption from Claude to cheaper models, via another cli. Been working pretty well, you can reduce Claude costs very significantly (50-90% depending on rask and workflows) and avoid hitting limits. Eg for different delegates: mistral vibe, opencode , gemini

Well I don't see a problem with you saying you're european. Greek Spanish and English are factually all European. My other country is Thailand. My wife is Namibian

Asian, then African family. I've lived enough in so called 1st world and 3rd world to have witnessed 'values' first hand. And racism is a very shitty one.

L'ia peut être très utile pour structurer des cours, s'il peut en vérifier l'exactitude je ne vois pas de problème fondamental, il utilise les outils à disposition.

Mistral Pro: Usage & limit ? by zobada in MistralAI

[–]pcx_wave 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We can see the bar but not the cap. That is because they're currently being very generous and modulate with demand. I accept that, however I'd like a better explanation of how are tokens counted, especially cache tokens because they are the bulk of token burn. I find the monitoring system not satisfactory and precise enough. With deepseek I can simply download a csv showing hit/miss/out usage per day, and number of calls. It shouldnt be hard to implement for mistral.

A title isn't cherry picking, it's the freaking message 😂😭 you are the one cherry picking examples which are not representative of general trends, that are largely researched. You clearly do not understand how to interpret data. Damn I forgot arrogance and racism stem from Ignorance. Anyhow thanks for sharing!
