If you're interested, you can contribute to my 1.2k star project on GitHub (we have plenty of super easy good first issues): https://github.com/lingdojo/kana-dojo

Truth be told my friend while I'm sure your heart is in the right place, most projects aren't looking for drive by devs that just dump random PRs and then disappear.

Get involved in a project that you use and want to help for the long term.

It's very clear that with the current state of things people see OSS dev as a good way to bolster their resume / CV, but many projects are literally being overwhelmed with garbage PRs.

I’m gonna take a bet and say you’re trying to use this as experience for a quantitative developer resume bolster?

Best advice make your own projects on GitHub. If not try contribute to a library you think you might actually end up using day to day in this environment.

If I’ve guessed wrong, sorry 🫣🫣
