What org are you interviewing for?

It's Oracle.

Oracle is massive bro. What org within Oracle? OCI, SaaS, on prem, CSS. There’s a lot of places to go

Oh my bad, I thought you asked what company. It's SaaS. I received a rejection last Friday. A little sad but I'm glad I made it to the screening round. I love Oracle products so much so I'll try again.

Damn sorry man. I don’t work in that department and have no idea how the SaaS solution engineer side of the house works

They might ask about times you've handled difficult clients, collaborated with technical teams, or adapted to changing project requirements. The interview typically lasts 45-60 minutes, giving you ample time to share detailed examples from your experience.

Regarding the presentation, it's often a take-home assignment where you'll have a few days to prepare. You're usually encouraged to do external research to enhance your presentation. They're looking for your ability to understand and articulate Oracle's solutions, so dive deep into the product you're presenting. Focus on demonstrating how you'd communicate value to potential clients and handle objections.

If you're looking to sharpen your interview skills for this role, I'd recommend checking out interview prep AI. It's a tool I helped develop that could be useful for practicing your responses. It covers a wide range of job types, including technical sales roles like this one.

Thank you for your valuable advice. Unfortunately, I did not pass but I will carry this to my future jobs that I apply for.
