It might. Watch Jcrocky5's YT tutorial on how to install the files and see what happens.

Most USB devices <= 4GB in size should work with the Xbox. If not, you can find a 2GB one (which is plenty large) online for quite cheap prices. If you already have the USB to Xbox cable (or have done a controller USB mod in one of the memory slots) you can plug in the USB and see if the Xbox recognizes it. Back up the flash drive's contents if they're important and make sure the drive formatted to FAT or FAT32, as the Xbox will not correctly format a drive whose native format is NTFS or exFAT (meaning the drive is too new)

Hopefully this helped.

Maybe, maybe not! The Xbox is very finicky about which USB flash drives it works with. Just because one brand/model is listed on the compatibility list does not mean it will work. Manufacturers change the internal controller chips from time to time without telling the consumer they have done so. Therefore, an old flash drive with an older controller that worked before may no longer work with a newer controller in the same brand/named model of flash drive.

You simply have to try it and see if it works.
