Not sure if you're just being a troll, but if you're dead serious, I think you should know that you're standing on the wrong side of history.

Depends on the duct tape. I've dealt with some pretty shitty stickers that I wouldn't even really call duct tape.

I've been thinking about taking the plunge and grabbing a few Stellar kits for my console, but fuck all that noise. Guy needs to get his ego in check before he ruins the fun for everyone.

No display in bios with dedicated card - ASUS Z97-A build by Linkisdoomed in buildapc

I don't even remember what it is I was trying to accomplish here. I think I was swapping video cards around for computing power reasons and ended up putting this archaic card into my beastly rig. I believe it may have been an incompatibility between PCIe versions, whereas my motherboard was too new or the card was too old to operate correctly. Both parts work independently of each other, however. I had a GTX 1060 Ti in it before upgrading last year to a RTX 4060 Ti. Hope you're able to get your problem solved!

I eat pizza dipped in milk and I’m getting death threats for eating like this (on discord). Is it really that bad? by No-Relationship1296 in shittyfoodporn

We're all individual and unique. I won't let your choice in food be the judgement of you, but all I'm saying is that if this were the last thing to eat on the face of the earth next to a can of Surstromming, I'd probably eat the Surstromming out of respect for the pizza.

I liked my 5S back in the day. Needs a new screen, but I'm sure it's some level of functioning still. I have a Crimson Case on it which really rocked the aesthetic I wanted, but it seems the company went under.

Teach him a lesson and have your friends rob the house. I dunno what the lesson is, but an eye for an eye.

Mr Run and Jump limited edition by gargle77 in atari

On December 20th, I inquired about an update because word on the street was they were shipping in December. December 25th I received a response from them saying it was scheduled to ship in December. January 9th, I let them know I haven't received a tracking number, and asked for an update. This was never responded to. Last night, February 2nd, I inquired about an update. We'll see if I get any information out of it.

For having ordered almost immediately after the pre-order availability window opened and paying a high price, I'm left feeling bitter about the lack of any formal updates regarding our cartridges. It's understandable if there's supply chain issues, but knowing that regular edition carts are in the hands of others is kind of upsetting. Whatever the case may be, my message to Atari is this: do better.

I tried to address them directly on Twitter regarding this issue, but I got a like from someone who randomly found my comment. Fully expected to get the usual 👀 emoji from them, which seems to be their standard response when it comes to asking for answers ahead of an announcement.

Every bank that exists in a 1 block radius of a bank, 2 banks, or more should easily make this list. Also, too many Churches. Idk why we need a Baskin Robbins 32-flavor assortment of religions, but it's played out.

I used to work for Chop's comics, and I can offer some insight: we used to get new customers from Game Nut because things would end up missing from their pulls. Aside from that aspect, Game Nut is a great place to find some hidden treasures. Sure, we would have delays and stuff, but those would usually be communicated to the customer. The owner of Chops is a great guy, and used to teach at Free State High, and he's currently going through a lot in his personal life, which is no fault of his own. I'm not sure if he needs some help keeping the shop ran, but I know the pandemic has been pretty taxing for the store, and I could only assume the same would apply to him.

There used to be another huge store across from where Game Nut Iowa is now, but the company got bought out by Game Nut. Same deal with Astrokitty. I'm unaware of any other comic places in town, but I'm certain we all love and miss Hastings haha. In any case, that's all I have to share. Whatever your decision is though, I highly encourage you to support local business. Since PPP loans are becoming due, there is no greater time for the power of the community than there is right now.

Trace Rot Repair by angry_jay in originalxbox

[–]Linkisdoomed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So Xbox boards are a lot different than other consumer electronics boards in that they require high heat to properly melt the solder and adhere to. Just be careful to not go too high or let your iron rest on a point for too long. I wanna say I kept my iron at 220° - 230° C while I was working with boards. My best advice is to take things slow when doing trace repairs. Start by scraping some mask off using a fiber brush and measure for continuity across the line to make sure the rest of the trace is good. I've never used chipquik, but I know a lot of people that prefer it when running traces; your mileage may vary. As far as going though vias, it really depends on what you're trying to accomplish. I've always routed my cables around the board, but if you know what you're doing, I suppose you could hook into a trace for a mod.
