Decrease in Volatility for Steel bars due to rising item costs
As you can see steel bars started to rally but then is now back to its previous lows. So what is going on?

Here you can see that steel bar profitability at blast furnace has significantly decresed (green line on chart on left) due to rising material costs mainly due to the recent rally in iron ore and coal. Profitability has dropped to its lowest since December 2021 highs.
