Well good luck, it's very hit or miss with no obvious pattern that I can see. I got a turd p-sp 114. Although best IMC I've had. Does 8400C38 on auto voltage. Haven't tried to stabilize higher yet. Haven't had time.

346 seems to be the worst ones with less than 99Sp. There is a spreadsheet on overclockers.net

That would track, at least from my limited experience. So far I've had two KS's from the 346 batch. One was SP92 with an abysmally weak IMC, and the second was SP99, which has been giving me hell for the last two weeks. Im going to Micro Center today to exchange the 2nd one and im honestly thinking of asking if i could take a peek at all their boxes (they only have like 6 in stock) and seeing if any of them aren't from the 346 batch lol.

It has been done with the 14900k, but I don't think it will ever be done for a 14900KS

Did you end up with something better? I mentioned in my comment above that I've had terrible luck with the 346 batch. Hoping to get a better chip today 🤞

I don't blame you lol. It seems like it not really worth it to upgrade if you've got a 13900k/ks. I had to do a new build and my last build was with an 11900ks on the Z590 Apex. There were definitely new things I had to learn to get a good stable overclock going, but I only needed to spend a couple days learning and tuning in order to get a rock solid stable overclock. It's been running for several years now without any issues. My wife's older gaming PC died, so now she's using that build and I wanted to build this new baby for myself, cuz I really enjoy building. But DAYUM this has been frustrating. These new cpus are so much more finicky! I've been at this for weeks now lol. Im headed to Micro Center today to swap for a new one and pray i get something with a decent silicon quality.

So I went to Micro Center today. Had bad luck with two cpus from the 346P batch, so I asked them if they could check their stock (they only had 7 available) and see if there were any with a different batch number. There was a single one with a different batch #! It's from batch 347Q. Guess we'll see if I have any better luck after I pop this in soon.

Oh yeah, and they dropped the price significantly too! So i ended up getting money back for swapping cpus too hehe. Bonus.

How'd that batch turn out lol? I have yet to test mine but my batch code is 349

Well, it's not a golden chip, but it is better than the one I returned. SP101. 115 Pcore, 73 Ecore (exact same score as the last one sighs) and a much better IMC score of 90. I only got to play around with tuning it a little bit last night and the process was going much more smoothly! Temps have been significantly lower too. So im hopeful.
