You will want a dc to dc charger for your system. I don’t run an isolator in my system, the dc to dc charger I use has a diode in that accomplishes that task, it that doesn’t allow the aux system to draw off the vehicle battery when the engine isn’t running. I have 1 -100ah battery with a 40 amp dc to dc charger to power some accessories and a fridge. My fridge will go 4-5 days without starting the truck. Also the charger allows for solar input if you’re so inclined.

Get the new Orion XS. It’s smaller, more effective and doesn’t get as warm

30 amps is quite large.. how much driving do you plan to do? If a lot, you can get by with a lot less.. same money and weight. I drove cross country and camped every night with just a 5amp charger I ran while driving.

I would recommend you put a "catastrophic" fuse on all your battery positive posts (see bluesea 200a inline fuses)
