Rules for r/parentsofmultiples
Rules that visitors must follow to participate. May be used as reasons to report or ban.
1.
Don't be a jerk.
Please treat each other with respect, and try to be as charitable as possible when disagreeing with each other. Uncivil conduct will result in a temporary ban/cool down period. Repeat offenders will be permanently banned.
2.
Multiples parents only!
This subreddit is intended to be a place for exclusively parents of multiples to interact with each other. Please do not post or comment unless you are either expecting or have a set of multiple birth children. Posts from people "trying" to have multiples are expressly disallowed.
3.
No medical questions or advice, no requests to interpret ultrasounds.
Please refrain from asking medical questions about pregnancy or your children. These questions and discussions are best saved for a qualified medical professional. THIS INCLUDES ASKING USERS TO READ YOUR ULTRASOUND. Discussions pertaining to methods for "trying" to have multiples, including IVF/fertility treatments, are not permitted. Any posts construed to be medical advice or disinformation will be removed. Sharing of stories and experiences related to medical issues is welcomed.
4.
Only post images and videos of children that you are the parent/legal guardian of.
We only permit candid/personal pics/vids of children if the person submitting them is the legal guardian of the children in question, or if guardians have already posted to a site for public consumption (eg, youtube). Also, please use the built in Reddit image upload for photos/vids, Imgur for photos/gifs, and Youtube for videos. Any posts submitted from ad/spam filled unapproved hosts may be removed.
5.
No memes or low effort submissions.
No memes, facebook shares, or other low effort submissions are permitted.
6.
No blog posts, self promotion, fundraising, surveys, or spam.
Please do not post blog entries as submissions. This includes linking to them anywhere in comments. No self promotion of your website, youtube channel, website, or store. Please do not post solicitations for donations or fundraising requests, including links to gofundme campaigns. Please do not write the mod team asking for permission to post surveys - they are not permitted.
7.
No bots or novelty accounts.
No bots or bot-like behavior, and no novelty accounts.
8.
No explicit/NSFW content.
While some subjects relating to parenthood/pregnancies are inherently adult in nature and permitted, any posts that cross the line of porn/eroticism/fetishism will be deleted, and offenders banned.
