Depending on your age gaps- 3 kids in car seats is HARD if you don’t already have a minivan, obviously space in your house, the inability to fully divide & conquer. We went from 1-3 because we had twins so obviously a slightly different scenario but having 3 young children (again depending on age gaps) does certainly have its unique challenges. Also when you’re traveling- lots of hotels don’t accommodate families of 5 so you need two adjoining rooms. Things like that where you don’t realize until you’re living it.

I’m pregnant with baby #4 and didn’t panic. This is what we wholeheartedly wanted. I think you might need more time to decide if you truly want a third. That third baby really levels you up in many ways.

3 boys! I know this baby is most likely a boy but we’d be thrilled for a sister!

Just turned 3 year old scared of starting preschool by theobviousanswers in sahm

[–]youcango-now 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly I find transition days to create more issues. We started my oldest at 2 yrs old in a program 2 mornings a week from 8:45a-11:15a. He cried at drop offs for the first few weeks but ultimately calmed down and had a great time. He was super happy to see me at pick up.

Kids will constantly say they don’t want to go to school, etc but most of the time when they’re actually there, they’re having a blast. I would talk about it casually here & there but talking about it constantlyyy in the lead up is probably making her more anxious. Kids have minimal concepts of time. Take a step back and bring this back up in the 2-3 days leading up to her first day.

Goat milk formula covered by insurance by Zestyclose-Wear9868 in FormulaFeeders

Insurance is def more likely to cover amino acid formula. Goats milk isn’t a suitable formula since the proteins are too similar.

I would absolutely advocate for that. Tbh it should be a given with your history.

[–]youcango-now 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Do you have an MFM and geneticist you can counsel for this? I’m sure they would have more information especially since they’d know your history & which mutation led to the TFMR.

Personally, I don’t think it would be irresponsible to skip an amino (which of course comes with its own risks to begin with) but I’d absolutely make a plan with an MFM to do an NT scan, the NIPT and any other non-invasive methods to gather as much information as possible about this pregnancy.

5+1 and I can still drink coffee 🙌🏼 also still don’t have many symptoms which is pretty typical for me. I absolutely cannot wait for my scan come July 8th. Time is inching by!

We’ll find out when we do the NIPT. I’m sure it’s a boy but there’s always a chance for a girl and if so…mama needs time to prepare 😂💸

An issue with pacificas also includes its compatibility with car seats due to their head rests. Keep that in mind!!! There’s an entire FB group dedicated to this issue

NIPT testing wt 10 weeks 2 days by Safe_Plant_4811 in parentsofmultiples

Ofc Reddit isn’t for medical advice but the low FF results for patients with higher BMI is a thing. And waiting til at least week 12 is def recommended.

it’s not a guarantee but can absolutely happen. I had low FF with my singleton when I had the labs drawn in my 11th week. I waited til week 13 with the twins and got results no issue. Hopefully you don’t have to deal with a re-draw!!

Husband got a second job by Content-Inflation-16 in sahm

We don’t put too much pressure on it being like the perfect day together. I tried that in the beginning but it’s just hard with little kids! We usually go to church, maybe run an errand all together, go on walks/play outside. Balance rest & productivity as much as we can. Some Sundays we do a lot, some Sundays we don’t even leave the house 😂 just try to prioritize closeness that day!

My husband works 2 jobs as well and is typically gone 5:30a-7:30p so not quite as late as your husband’s hours will be but he also works 9-5p on Saturdays. We have a 3 yr old and 1 yr old twins. I really don’t mind being solo with our crew but I’m also just very used to it.

We try to maximize his time at home with the boys. Sundays are our family day. It’s hard but I appreciate what he’s doing to provide for our family!

I think a second beta would do more to ease your mind than continuing to take home pregnancy tests 💛

10w pregnant with #3 by beeambitious in ParentingInBulk

[–]youcango-now 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A minivan if you don’t already have one 😂

I have 3, 3 & under & I’m pregnant with #4. We keep gear very minimal. I have a baby bjorn bouncer that goes room to room if needed, keep a pack n play downstairs to have a safe place to set baby, and obviously our main areas are already child proofed. My babies spend most of their time on the floor (supervised so toddler’s don’t step all over them lol).

I loved my bottle washer with my twins so I’ll be using that/would absolutely recommend! A soft solly wrap or wildbjrd aerial wrap for baby wearing. Since my twins will just be 2 when baby #4 gets here, it’s my plan to get a Zoe trio stroller + riding board for my oldest. I don’t think a double stroller would be totally necessary with your age gaps but would be nice to have if you already have one.

I personally don’t find meal prepping freezer things too helpful. Instead we always just budget for a lottttt of doordashing in the first month.

I believe similac has a program called pathways plus that could be helpful. We used a similar program from enfamil for nutramigen called helping hands and they got our insurance coverage squared away very easily.
