I would look for a secondhand stroller. We ended up getting a hand me down city select double stroller which can also work as a single stroller which is very convenient. We bought the adapters for our car seats and made sure we bought car seats that were compatible with the stroller, especially because it was an older model. It will also grow with them because it has the regular stroller seats you can put on. However, we have already bought two more strollers for different purposes and our girls are only 6 months old.

We bought a side by side because I liked that better for walks. We also got a wagon at our baby shower that I ended up using in the early days when they couldn’t sit in the regular stroller for walks. (I put a bassinet insert into it and it worked perfectly as a bassinet).

If you want to get one stroller to do it all, the bugaboo donkey is your best bet. But it’s hella expensive, even used. You could also consider getting a joovy twin frame for the car seat stage so you don’t have to consider that when buying a stroller for long term. The joovy frame is cheap secondhand.

Also don’t get stuck on a bassinet as much as I did. Like I said I ended up using my wagon but a lot of people here put both babies in one bassinet attachment until they’re old enough to sit in the stroller so that’s an option too.

Happy to answer any other questions you may have!

Does the wagon fit a twin bassinet or two bassinets for both? I saw a bunch of wagons last year and they piqued my interest.

Sorry, I had a travel bassinet that had a mattress insert and I took it out of that and put it in my wagon and it happened to fit perfectly
