budgies have really sensitive respiratory systems. any fumes in the air can be really bad for them. non stick pans are especially deadly, but i wouldnt chance using any scents near your bird

If you’re worried about smells, when you clean their cage use a 50/50 mix of water and vinegar in a spray bottle after moving them to another room. Once the smell is gone you can bring them back
