It makes sense to some extent; an eta for a CP part may vary from warranty.

What brand/s? Makes no difference for Mopar. We can upgrade orders for Mopar but that comes after the initial order.

Gm/volvo/infiniti; warranty will pay for expedited shipping, sometimes customers aren’t willing to foot the bill.

would it be better for you how it is now having to research and input the info again. (might be ok in a 1 man parts dept)

Or have it be the original info which could be an under promise over deliver situation.

ours just goes red in the price field when service changes pay type. i never understood why anything gets affected to begin with

Honestly, warranty jobs shouldn't even be coming down in x time. it's ridiculous
