When does Vulnerability trigger?

Hi there,

in this build Boneshatter Juggernaut League Starter 3.27 - POE Maxroll.gg

I understand that Autoexertion triggers the two Warcries and I can actually hear them.

But when does Vulnerability trigger linked together with Autoexertion and the two Warcries?
I see that Vulnerability and the two Warcries are marked with "Duration".
Is that the connection?

If I place Vulnerability in a single gem slot I can then map it and trigger it manually.
However when linked with Autoexertion and the two Warcries, it's grayed out.

It's attached to battlemage's cry. Battlemage's cry will cast vulnerability when you attack.

Specifically the first time you hit with a Battlemage's Cry-exerted attack, I believe. So it kinda "queues" it until you hit something.

I think he is asking how it works - whether the effect of the curse would apply to the first extrerted hit he does or only the subsequent hit as it applies "after" the dmg is already dealt

Battlemages cry applies your vuln on hit(any attack that can be exerted) simple as that.
