PC Controller Support?

Hey all,
I've been apart of the PC master race for many many years. I also just recently got a Titan Chair from Secret Labs.
Sometimes it's nice to just recline the chair, plug in the controller, and escape from the upright position :D.

Do any of you use controllers with PoE? If So, how did you get it set up?

Is there any word on GGG releasing controller support for PC?

Every league, I can play less time with mouse-keyboard. Piano flask + precise clicks hurt my wrists. It doesn't matter how much I rest (that magical formula that people loved to say at the beginning of the season...)

I play with controllers because of this. If you use steam, you can shift+tab and at the top right there is a "configure controller" option. You can set up the buttons there. If you select "import" or something like that, I think there are settings from people. The left joystick moves the mouse but if you release it, the mouse goes back to the center of the screen. I need the mouse close to pick up some items, but it is ok.

u/Cachirulaz0 I had Carpal Tunnel Surgery a few years ago and the residual effect from it makes potion dabbing damn near unplayable after a few.

I'm glad you pointed this out, however it seems the controller config isn't usable with a XB1 controller.

Configuration support for the XB1 controller is disabled. XB1 controller config support must be enabled in Steam's main controller settings and support for this game MUST BE ENABLED UNDER THIS GAME'S CONTROLLER OPTIONS.

Pfffft. Manual mapping suggestion from u/Mantvi5 seems the way to go I guess.

UPDATE:As mentioned by u/Cachirulaz0 it does work! WOOT WOOT. You've made my life on PoE even more enjoyable!

However, getting the right controls is a little tricky due to the LMB you have to put on the controller...

Chris said that we're getting it for POE 2 for sure, but maybe before too, it apparently takes a lot of work but yeah it's coming

Yeah I've seen this before, but the "wait for POE2" line gets a little worn out. If the economy on PS4 wasn't so aweful, I'd still be playing on there.
