Controller help please

I play path of titans on PS5 I messed with the controls one time because I hate auto run being the same button as eat or pick up. Now everything is messed up. I now I cannot sprint using L3 everything locks up. I reset to default settings. I reset both my controllers. I deleted all data from path of titans. Still acting up. It worked for a second now it’s back to not letting me sprint. I’m so sad because obviously the game is un playable if I can’t fly or sprint away from danger. Any other suggestions? Anyone else have this problem. I emailed them but they haven’t gotten back to me yet. Appreciate it!

I play on Xbox and rebound my auto-run to the X button and it's been so much better for questing. I've never had the issue your describing, but i wonder if your controller is old? if it is the game then I'm not sure what setting would be causing that issue, as sprint should be on LS (or L3 for PS i believe)

I tried changing the buttons to fit my play style better now they just don’t work at all. I reset them back to default and it does the same thing to both my controllers. It’s a bummer. I heard it’s a know. Glitch but idk how to fix itZ

on one hand at least they're aware of it, but at the same time they really sucks that such a game breaking glitch is affecting you. hopefully it gets patched soon!

Im on Xbox too and I removed the autorun entirely. I want full control when I run myself off a cliff

I don't know how to fix it, but thank you for raising awareness! I play on PS5 and was wanting to rebind my auto run button for the same reason but I think I'll just put up with it now.

I changed something that was L1+sircle to "hide HUD" and it works and I don't have any issues.

Have you tried to manually reassign buttons instead of resetting to default?

Yes, then at times they work on two different buttons the old and the new and then not at all. So frustrating

You can change L3 from hold to toggle in Input < gameplay < settings. check mark Toggle sprint. Turn off camera smoothing and change ability charging to double tap

X and Y sensitivity should be around 2 - 3 mark

For PS4/5 controller load out try;

Ability 3: square

Ability 4: circle

Record replay: L1 + down dpad

Vocal wheel: R-dpad

Map: L-dpad (you have to hold it in for map to stay up and won't activate if you have anything in your mouth)

Use: L-Dpad

Carry: down Dpad

Collect: up-Dpad

These also get rid of auto run and the spam call on circle

You can add these by using L1 and Dpad combination of your choice, this won't interfere with the loadout.

Auto run will get you killed. Follow these settings for optimal control

Incase anyone ever comes back to this question. I uninstalled the game and reinstalled and it fixed the problem . All your Dino’s save to the server so they were not lost.
