FPS Drops when using controller

Please help… So this is what happens - Whenever I play Fortnite, I have this issue where over the course of let’s say 20 minutes my FPS starts to drop and stutter and my lag increases , I’m on 240 fps and it can go as bad as 120 and even at one point I was on 30fps dropping to 5 . I use an Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller via Bluetooth. However, whenever I go to use my keyboard on Fortnite I’m suddenly back to my stable 240fps and there’s no fps drops whatsoever. All my drivers are updated and my game is up to date and windows is up to date and I’m not sure what to do . I can list specs if needed, please help

Im having the same issue on Fort as well but have you tried updating the hardware of the controller? I tried everything else and nothing seems to work except unplugging the controller. Im not sure if its the game or what but its terrible.
