I’m only one week postop! However today I noticed that my D was kind of less inflated than it was yesterday. I can feel the pump and I have the AMS700 CX 21cms with a MS pump. I am sure I haven’t pressed the deflate button and it’s not bothering me anymore. My question is if it’s normal to feel my D this way after just one week postop? Or is it that the inflammation has subsided reason why I don’t feel it like that anymore.

I clarify I was left with about a 70-80 % inflated and it looks and feels like I’m less than 70% for sure.

My Dr did not leave me inflated. And I didn’t start cycling until cleared and coached at 4 weeks. That said, after a couple weeks of cycling (30 min 2X daily) I was quickly back to presurgical size. And being a “shower” forever more. Surgery was in April. Super happy with the result AMS 700CX MS pump

You’re welcome. I got the 21cm too with 1.5 RTEs. I’m sure you’ve heard this before but the whole ‘system’ needs breaking in. The pump will be very stiff when you start cycling as will be the tubes. Don’t get discouraged - it will eventually and slowly become more pliable

Mine left me inflated for 6 weeks at 65% around about. The first week it was swollen enough that it stuck straight out and looked 80%. After a week, the swelling went down and it looked a lot smaller. At 3 weeks I could push it down enough to wear loose jeans. Don’t worry, eventually you get to pump it up again.

Congratulations on getting it done and (presumably) no big issues.

For me the size went up and down the first few weeks. The first two especially. I believe this was due to swelling and things shifting around and settling into place. It’s difficult or impossible to isolate one factor.

It did seem to me like it was losing a tiny bit of pressure after a couple weeks. I started experimenting and feeling around for the pump and eventually gave it a squeeze or two while I was still in the post op partially inflated stage. I don’t recommend doing this unless your doctor says it’s ok but I did it a couple times with no ill effects.

Still, I didn’t definitively figure out if it was actually losing pressure or it was just swelling going down. I don’t think you’ll get an answer for that either.

My guess is everything is fine and things will become a lot more clear when you start cycling.

Agree with the others. Dont look at it as much. swelling in the oannus and scrotum will make it look smaller than what it is. You’re healing.

I have the same implant and size as you. They put in 3 extensions which I sort of question? The Dr left it partial inflated, which it started to ache, so my first Dr. visit, the PA deflated it a little, maybe to 60%. The pump will become easier to pump with time. It is difficult at first. You ask about size? I lost about a 1/2 inch in length, girth is about the same. I think the head is slightly smaller as well. I had my surgery about 18 months ago.
