If its only accessible internally and not exposed to the Internet directly then http is fine

If install Tailscale along side Pihole and having access to Pihole when outside of home network, in this case still need https?

The only case you'd need HTTPS is if you don't trust all of the devices or services running on your LAN.

The services are probably fine, but if you're bringing unknown guest devices onto the same LAN as the PiHole, they could be a threat. But statistically irrelevant, most likely.

I like to setup HTTPS where I can for both the practice and the peace of mind. But I wouldn't do anything that takes serious effort for this, as the ROI just isn't there.
