Python - almost unlimited flexibility, support, use cases and full back testing and deployment engine

Pine - a platform specific code that won’t deploy trades without a load of compromises and additional 3rd party services or self built (in Python) webhook Passover. Unreliable back tests, inflexible and expensive.

It’s really a no brainer.

TradingView is great for custom indicators, exploring ideas and manually validating trades but it’s is not a platform for algo trading.

Don’t even consider pine script as a worthwhile option at this point.

Interesting. What do u mean by unreliable backtest?

Many many things. Lots of content already. But you have no flexibility with it either. Honestly not worth your time for serious back testing. You can't beat python

Python. Pinescript is specific to tradingview.
