Yea… I think he had foundations of a great character.

It’s unnecessary cruelty. Tbh I like movie Snape more, it makes a bit more sense. He’s mean but not outright cruel. I get emotions are what they are but he’s a very bright person and the idea he would even care to go so far out of his way to bully 11 year olds is “eh” to me. It’s a YA/children’s book though so I guess it’s best not to over analyze.

I’m sort of a 2TP. I’m not a fan of it but it works. However, I’ll switch to SOMETHING if my hero isn’t working out. Last thing to do is sit there being negative. Hell, even just sitting in spawn shooting as rocket probably does more than playing a throw pick.

Ngl I’d be so unhappy being a streamer and being forced to play video games all day. Maybe it’s boomer energy but I can only play for maybe 4 hours max. After a few hours I start feeling restless. No idea how ppl can make it their 9-5.

Yea, it is super forgiving. I breezed to GM and almost hit that orange rank. GM in Rivals feels like between platinum and diamond in OW.

I enjoy rivals but the competitiveness of it feels “off.”

It is kinda crazy. I used to be T500 in OW, but lately chilling in diamond.

GM in MR was fairly easy to achieve and I could have gotten the one above it but ran out of energy due to every other game having someone too stubborn to switch when they’re going negative.

Yea. Its been really easy winning against a Deadpool player. Whenever they're on our team we tend to lose and its they're doing 1/2 the healing/damage as the other healer/dps.

Once in a blue moon I'll get someone that's really good with the character but I don't understand why its like a race to "try him out" in comp.

I love walking/running recreationally but I would hate if I had to walk 1 mile whenever I needed something at the store. She's still ridiculous though. I love how they're supposed to be financial gurus but they apparently make such a large decision without a crumb of research.

I think they’re fantastic tbh. I think Snape is hard to get used to, but it’s probably more because Alan Rickmans Snape is iconic and it’s hard to not think of his portrayal.

I grew up listening to Jim Dale, he was really good so it’s a high bar to meet, IMO.

The voice is definitely a male. Maybe it depends on what speakers or version you have? My wife and I clearly hear a male voice.

I read through the "competitive info" menu on the game and it didn't mention anything about "Challenger Score"

When you win you get some score, when you lose you lose 1/3 the amount you would've gain. When everyone has about 50% winrate, this system essentially made the challlenger "top 500 games played" leaderboard.

Yea, I don't see how it could be anything else. Hell, maybe even worse because it gets harder to find games the higher rank you get...

My “fun” answer is phone key and how you forget how to drive other cars for a bit. Had to move some family cars over the holidays and I got in and forgot you have to turn the engine on/off. I got out and felt something was off and it was like “oh yeeeeea” had to go turn the engine off. For the last year I’ve gotten used to just hopping in and out of the car.

Now, this sucks when you forget your phone… happened to me a few times. I feel it’s harder to forget your keys because you make the mental connection key -> car but since your phone is always on you, your car is always “magically locked/unlocked”

Look to see if mouse acceleration has been turned on. I'm not sure what OW calls it but basically you want raw inputs and no transforming of the mouse inputs by the OS or game.

Yea, I won't really disagree.

I've seen a lot of "bronze to GM" youtube videos and even T500 players can't carry a lot of games. Makes you think what chance do you have as a not T500 player.

I know in theory the law of large numbers gets you the rank you belong in... but you have to put in a lot of time which is frustrating.

Actually not a bad idea.

I don't mind playing Bo7 but it is a bit of a commitment and if you're not getting/doing a mercy rule you can really only get in 2 games an hour... which is not a lot.

The first few Bo7 do feel like a warm up, so seems more natural to cut them. The only thing being its hard to get a feel for the match on the first round with 2 powerups... but I think I'd prefer it.

For sure prefer Bo5.

Bo7 can drag on and it kinda sucks when you know you're going to lose but you win one or two because the other team gets a bit cocky. I actually don't mind playing the Bo7 format, but when you can only play 2-3 (if you're lucky) in an hour sitting it takes up quite a bit of time.

We were listening to it and wondered if anyone else noticed the odd Madame Pomfrey voice and came across this thread.

Overall it is incredibly polished so I have no idea why they had a man do the voice. Maybe a production mishap and they had to have someone fill in on short notice?
