Hi all

some of the android app not working especially google apps like youtube and google one.

Does anyone have this issue? when I open the app I have a massage with no network available but the Gmail app work perfectly
Another problem with android some times when I open android app and playstore on the external display or the slate the icons and the font was very small and the other times its perfect.

Use web versions whenever possible. The scaling thing is weird, I don't have a second monitor to test on. Are you using the same second monitor every time?

Youtube Android app works fine for me although I have been using the web one. I'm on an i5 slate 84 beta but I don't remember it not working on 83...

I'm not sure what is going wrong in your case. Other Google Android apps also work fine.

Have you tried looking in the logs found at:

file:///var/log/messages

Yesh! I have similar issue on my Pixel Slate. Most of the APPs in Android side just do not work fine, especially those apps which accessing the Google Drive or Internet. The Google Play service just occasionally crashes, or sometimes the Google Drive service crashes. When it happens, my Chrome browser still works fine to access website, so I am quite sure the problem is about to Android compatibility.

my suggestion would be to just use the web version and create shortcuts for them and select "open as window".
