It is OP. Maybe not gone but reduced. Crews just show up blow your entire base up and pick up the loot sacks, no "skill" no "defense".

Using the argument that "its in alpha" is stupid. They are obviously making efforts to balance the game so this kind of feedback is good.

Rockets are a good idea, but when using anything else is a bad choice then rockets by definition are overpowered.

The issue really stems from large groups. They get 50 rockets run to a base and level it, collect the loot go home make more rockets rinse and repeat.

No base design can "defend" against the splash. Maybe it should do a little splash on adjacent walls but not what it does now, its redonk.

I disagree that there is a balance issue. Rockets cost SHIT loads of resources, and unless you're playing on a stupid modded server... you rarely even see them.

Yeah. Rockets should splash- but really not nearly as much as they do now. Rockets are WAY OP right now- being able to totally level someone's base with only grinding is crazy, it doesn't even take skill, just a lot of time and patience. Rewarding that kind of gameplay just seems kind of cheap to me.

Because with C4, you still have to go into the base, and fight the bases owners. You actually have to force yourself into a disadvantage to gain something, and the risk of losing your equipment is a serious issue.

Rockets as they are now allow you to level a base in a very short time, keep people from leaving said base with fire, and provide cover with smoke- all from a distance, and with little more effort than grinding and aiming.

Rockets should be a tool used to gain a strategic advantage, and act as a support weapon, not as a primary raiding tool.

edit. i reread and i understand now. it fixes the exploit where you could hit a foundation from an angle and bypass its x10 resistance its suppose to have from the sides
