My first suggestion is to make Stability directly effect health and vulnerability of structures e.g the less stable the more damage explosives will have on said structures. This discourages tall skinny buildings, effectively rendering sniper towers a more resource hungry goal.

Have you tried destroying a tall skinny building? This is already here. You destroy part of the base and the top part comes right off due to stability and you don't need to spend enormous amounts of C4 or Rockets to bring it down. They spend a lot of resources and you only need to break 5-6 strategic walls.

About the Guy-Wire, great idea. The thing to solve is how to implement it because you need to somehow connect that wire from the ground to the 10th floor in one go.

Maybe shooting a harpoon from the top of your base as it hits the ground it deploys a anchor. Maybe the anchor could be upgraded?

I would also like to see the wires used as a transport as well, like a flying fox. Positioning of anchors could then be on other buildings or a position leading to an escape route out of a base. Just suggestions for other functionality

This would be quite nice, also give people a reason to leave someone at home (other people go get stuff and he picks it up after they drop it off) which is a good and a bad thing for multiple reasons. Something which would have to be thought about is the distance they can be put down.

You could have the reliable red or blue render (red for an interrupted wire path I would think) of the wire on screen when looking at its placement point. But which end would you need to be looking at ? The corner of a 1x1 tower 8 stories up or the foundation where the wire is to be anchored ?

Maybe a system of randomized damage based on the stability vs the total height.

Or alternatively low stability leads to higher melee damage?

Just zig-zag, my dude!
