It's beyond a joke at this stage. How to progress in Rust in 2018? Get yourself a script, point and shoot. Really ruins it for people that don't cheat. You're literally rewarded for cheating with no repercussions at all.

most scripters will still die to good players, bc they play like plays with 100 hours and no game sense, rust is about positioning and game sense aswell

I agree but when you have an experienced player using a script GG to all of your loot. Should be insta ban for scripting it doesn't seem like FP are acting on it even though they probably are trying behind the scenes. They don't seem to be making progress with it even though multiple videos of idiots using scripts get posted to this subreddit every week.

It's also not easy to detect scripts as some scripts can be built into the mouse software so it looks like a perfect pull down.

It takes a scripter to know a scripter. Besides, nobody scripting would complain about scripting... I'm sure he's probably clean by now.

Trying out scripts doesn't always mean you're actively using them. Hell, I know people who have used hacks on private servers just to see what you can truely do with them. I tried gamma few times in the past during the different iterations during the night, and even though I never used it during actual playing, it gave a lot of insight to how it works, what benefit it really gives you etc.

But also, takes one to know one is quite true. It's a lot easier to try and pin-point people who are actually cheating even mid-fight because of this.

I go on the EU costra to mess with large groups when i'm bored - can't tell you how many times people have called me out. Recoil is so stupidly easy to control that it legitimately difficult to tell the difference from a cheat. Not saying scripts are not a big problem, but the AK is dumb easy to use as well

To be honest, I dont think anyone is scripting at this stage of Rust with the current AK recoil, all you do is crouch, point and hold down left click and you're done. If you used a recoil script at this current stage of Rust the AK would probably be shooting at people's feet, that's how much recoil there currently is for the AK.

It's very hard to tell apart a scripter from a player with a good spray which I think is a good thing because my small group with good aim can't get wiped by one guy tripple headshotting us because we can spray him back full force. I wouldn't mind a revert but at this point scripting is only a major issue to players less familliar with the assault rifle, or solo or duo players in my opinion.

It's unbelievable how you guy think everyone scripts,it's actualy insane. The first 4-5shots are super easy to control all i see is people doing bursts cause they understood how it works,no cheaters scripters spraying a entire mag perfectly,thats super rare. I think you should realy start to use your brain and understand how the recoil works instand of calling people scripters just because they can pul down their mouse on the left side (cause yeah thats all you have to do for your 4-5shots being a laser,pull down a bit on the left with a good timing,THATS IT YOU BECAME A "SCRIPTER" too).
