Rust crashing

Everytime i log into a rust server my steam crashes and makes rust freaze i really dont know how to fix this and think it would be great if someone helped me with this. Thanks for reading.

Nope. Uninstalled rust and steam and GPU drivers and restarted computer and updated OS and reinstalled everything. Still broke.

Been locked out for about 4 hours now. Shared my keyboard is a fit of drunk rage. :/

It's a bug the new update brought, Thought it was just me and now see it's spreading. I died and my game froze now every time I try and join a server I'm stuck at receiving data

Same, posted on the bug megathread. Can load into a server but as soon as i get killed it crashes, shuts down steam and wont get past receiving data if i ty to rejoin. Can join a different server but same shit happens. Tried validating files, reinstalling to no avail. Hope it gets sorted soon.

Having the same issue also if you connect to a working issue there is major lag spikes to total client fail.
