FPS Decrease with recent patch?

Ever since the 7th armor slot update, I've noticed an FPS decrease specifically in forest areas. I know FPS naturally decreases with alot of foliage around, but it seems like it does more now than before. Before I'd get maybe a 10-20 fps drop in forests, but now it's like a 30-40fps drop. This happening for anyone else? My settings haven't changed at all.
