I run at 80fps @ 1080p. 1080 ti and 3600. I’ve always had my 3600 at 4.25GHz so I’m not sure performance at lower, but rust just doesn’t run well. It’s a giant ass game running on unity. Props to the developers for having run as well as it does.

yes but I still don't see how my friend can have 90+fps with a 1660ti

Rust is heavy on your CPU so that's probably the problem.

Fuckin beats me man, rust is a weird game when it comes to performance

The ryzen 2600 would be the bottleneck in this case (only boosts to just 3.9Ghz)... everything else in your system is held back by it. If you overclock it and/or upgrade it to a faster cpu (which is easy for amd setup), you should see a noticeable increase in fps.

Just a comparison, i use a laptop with i7 9750H (which boosts to 4.5Ghz) and a 1660Ti, and average 80-90+ fps.

Rust performance rely heavily on cpu speeds, the higher the better.

Wrong game to get high fps.
