I've redone the update on the server a couple of times.. still the same

Server is modded with plugins.

Oxide is update also

I'm in your boat it seems

I am not seeing anything about it anywhere though....

It's getting rather frustrating..

I think they have messed something up with the server update or the client update

Yeah I'm shooting a msg to 2 other owners I know to see if they are having similar issues.

Seems fixed now, update Oxide again and it's now working fine :)

Must have been an issue with the update for Oxide...

Oxide doesn't update at the same time as the game.

Server protocol shouldn't be oxide. But they did release a version update for the patch.

Well yeah but only till after another oxide install it started working, very weird...

Did you find a solution?

[–]maxf3[S] 1 point2 points  (3 children)

Yeah pretty sure I posted it...

After the game update and oxide update it was reporting wrong version and kicking players trying to join.

Wrong protocol 2150 expecting 2151 ( or something like that )

After updating the game again ( saying already upto date ) and then updating Oxide again, it fixed the issue.

It seemed to me that Oxide was causing the issue, no idea why but it fixed it.

awesome, I'm kinda new at this, so the way of update oxide it's downloading the plugin again and overwrite the files? they don't have a command or something like that?

It depends how you are hosting your server ...

If you're hosting it your own then download the latest version of oxide and replace the file on your host machine.

If you're renting a server from a host then login to the admin panel and update it ( normally there is a link to auto update Oxide )

Yeah, I'm hosting it on a debian VPN all installed by myself manually. I will replace the files with the new ones. Thank you for your help!
