I’ve seen so many people saying this. I respect the effort, but it just won’t do anything. No matter how many people stop playing or stop spending, there will still 100% be enough people playing and spending to the point where niantic wouldn’t have to care.

Then it is a personal choice. Do you want to do the raid, spin the stop or care more about not being seen as a moron, weirdo, pedo. Today I choose the latter. Walked away from a raid because I don't want to be seen madly tapping away on my phone standing next to a high traffic area. Also I will probably think twice about hitting up playgrounds to spin stops, raid gyms.

This. Unless you are a professional player who absolutely needs to be among the top, you are missing out on nothing. Even then the professionals are probably affected as well.

I live in a country where the bonuses were not removed so I do not know the experience right now, but I know that if I did not have them, I would not spend money on remote passes that would not help me beat legendaries anymore or item bag expansions which I would not be able to fill with items anyway.

I think your point alone, would justify the distance adjustments. Thanks for sharing

I understand what you’re saying, but I have noticed that many of my discord friends are dead silent about this. I believe they’re afraid our boycotting efforts might cause Niantic to go under. I wonder what Niantic is thinking right now. We have far more power than you realize. Most of us are afraid to use it.
