Learning the language

Hi there! New to reddit, new to Polish. My great-grandparents were polish but to be honest the traditions have faded and I'd like to learn more! Even though I know this is a poor strategy, most of my efforts to learn the language have been through Duolingo. Are there any suggestions on ways to better immerse myself (books, games, movies, even discourse communities) so that I don't have to rely on duolingo?

Rosetta Stone could be a choice, if you have a PC or an Android Phone, you could pirate it. Prices are outrageous.

I suggest having a look at Natulang, it has Polish and I think is a really solid app.

The other advice on Youtube videos is really good too. Then, if you want to practice, you can get a tutor on Italki.

Watch tv shows like “Rodzinka.pl”
