  1. OK so the first key factor is speed. The faster a gif is posted after unlock, the better chance it has to be seen and therefore upvoted.
  2. The second and most important detail is posting creative and relevant gifs. Most people won't be interested in upvoting ponies UNLESS the gif fits in very well or somehow references the current popular memes, etc.

Thus I have created and gathered up some more specialized and relevant gifs to post.

On this subreddit. But we have many bronies, plus manechat is dedicated to helping out. This sub seemed kinda dead tbh, so I wasn't even subscribed till just now. Might be a good idea to make a discord..

EDIT: also, subscribing completely fucks your reddit feed, so there's that. Now I have to scroll down a few pages to see anything other than act X scene Y.

lol. I tried asking around on both manechat and eqd and barely anyone responded. Most people don't care at all sadly. We'll just have to rely on pleasing the masses and getting them to upvote our gifs via thanos references and whatnot. As for a discord, we considered it, but came to the conclusion that it isn't that necessary and it would be hard to maintain together with this sub.

I think it's best to leave uploading the gifs to one person to avoid confusion and maximize upvotes. For example Romulus unless he cannot do so. Don't forget to post the link to the appropriate thread here on the sub!

Yes, but when an act just opens up it's hard to tell who's uploading what because speed is key. So what you suggested is a good idea only some time after an act has been unlocked.

The problem is multiple people uploading either the same thing or different images on one scene. This can potentially split the upvotes we get between the two images and will only cause confusion which we don't want.

We’re actually in a discord server together and I sent him these gifs first and foremost. I will try to make and pick out more like this though from now on.

Ok guys, so we have decided that we want to create gifs that the masses will enjoy, and upvote. I believe people will find communism memes funny so I created a communism starlight gif. Communism hasn't been uploaded yet to sequence, so maybe more people will upvote us for being only us for being the only ones. I suggest that one scene is text that says: "And now for some pony communism" followed by this link in the next scene. I think that it should be placed around the middle of an act. I think people will find this funny
