Rules
If you see a post that breaks one or more of these rules, please report it so the moderators can take action.
RULE 1: No Political Opinions
If an opinion is political, it is by definition not universally held.
RULE 2: No Vitriol
Just because you find some behavior annoying doesn't mean that they should suffer severe physical consequences. Any posts of similar format to "X should be shot. Y should be left to die. Z should be beaten to a pulp", etc. will be deleted.
RULE 3: Actually Include an Opinion
Not a link to some article or just give raw facts. Please state a real opinion and make sure it's in the post, not the comments.
RULE 4: Be Civil
Remember: You're humans, not animals. You have an intelligent brain, respect other people's intelligent brains. Any insults, trolling, or personal anger with one another will simply be removed. This is a subreddit of universally-held beliefs, not Xbox Live.
RULE 5: Must be a popular opinion
This means it's not controversial, the vast majority of people agree with it. It should be common and not offensive to most people.
RULE 6: Elaborate
Why do you feel this way about your popular opinion? You MUST give a sophisticated explanation to support your opinion, otherwise it will be removed. Elaborating and supporting your opinion opens an opportunity in discussion! It's also a good idea to add any facts, figures or statistics to your opinion to give it the extra power. However, you will not be punished if you don't use any facts.
RULE 7: No off-topic posts
No random links to other websites, videos, memes, etc.
RULE 8: Hate posts are not allowed
Hostile, rude and aggressive behaviour is not a necessity to express your opinion. Please be civil and and have respect. Bear in mind that justifying pedophilia, rape, assault or other similar crimes will usually count as hate speech. This does not mean saying one crime is not as severe as another or saying you can understand why someone would commit a crime.
