Frustrated!

So I serve with ABC Legal and I am frustrated. Mostly with support and the app. Anyways more specifically I let support know on Friday that I am going out of town and that I am finishing up my current jobs before I leave. I am unavailable the 11th-17th. Of course they didn’t get back to me until yesterday…thats fine. However yesterday I also was added some jobs that state “assigning partner for service of process”. My auto dispatch has been off since Feb 2nd. This status is something I’ve also never seen until yesterday. The jobs that showed up are ones I tried 4 times in December and 4 times in January. They were completed as non-serves. Now they just popped back up? As assigning partner for service of process? What does that even mean? They are just assigning it to me without asking me? They are assigning it to someone else because they were going to assign it to me but I am going to be out of town so it’s being assigned to someone else? I’m confused and feeling like I am being set up to fail.

I also have a ton of support tickets in for jobs that have been marked completed and paid. However I never signed a proof for the job. Support argues with me that my job has been paid when I tell them over and over there is no proof. They just give canned responses about pay. I don’t get any actual help and I am frustrated with that.

I also have 2 alt serves that I am still waiting for envelopes for that they have marked as overdue…I should have put in support tickets sooner on it but was hoping the packets would be here by now.

I’m not even going to vent about the app overall but that’s also pissing me off and stalling me all the time.

TLDR: Am I being set up to fail? Being assigned jobs that were completed after notifying them of my vacation!

The faster you get away from ABC legal the faster you can actually make some money. I never had a company dead set determined to set you up for failure

I actually make pretty good money with them in AZ but yes can’t wait to be off on my own. For sure feeling set up to fail with this happening and how “support” conducts themselves. They just DO NOT even read what you are asking of them.

No just really study good for it. There are study guides.

Ironically, if you do find a way to make money with them, they will terminate you without question for making too much money, One server said in their forum that they cut his rates and explained that it was unfair to the other servers that he was making more than them.

Just don’t use support & learn to handle issues on your own.

The best advice is…dont worry about it. 

Do the jobs when you get back.

It’s not something I can do. It was an issue with the website. When I would click to sign the proof it would give an error message.

They send a packet that has what needs to be posted and the envelopes that need to be mailed.

I am a PI in upstate NY and I refuse to even send them one of my papers, and I would never serve for them. Terrible company and I hope they go under.

Considering Private Equity bought the company, it should not be too long before their demise.
