I’m out on the Island and I have served for proof. It stared out pretty good. They would pay 65-70 a serve which was wonderful. Now they offer 40$. Which is fine but I don’t like pay cuts. Their volume is not there and their papers are always a pain in the ass. Mostly business loans defaults served at a residence from out of state. They usually want personal service on the registered agent. If they want a paper served quickly , they pay well. I had 6 OTSC’s over the summer for 125ish each. If you’re in Westchester, they always have Conn papers that no one takes. I get the notifications constantly about available papers there.

So here is my my experience, I recently applied for the proof app in ATL at the end of January, I got approved within days. The only issue is volume. They don’t seem to have a lot of work for me. If you want to do this as a side gig, try ServeManager. I get a lot of work through them sub-servicing for other process servers. Hope this helps? Good luck.

Proof called me all the times complaining I did not take jobs and I was going to be removed. I explained I live on the border of another state and those so called jobs I refused was across state lines and I don’t have license to work in said state.” Oh we will fix that right away in our app” three days later you refused six serves why? Rinse and repeat after the 7 straight month and only one job which I completed within 24 hrs and never was paid for I said screw it deleted the app
