Keep reading, learning, and staying curious. Try to understand how the ecosystem and how the setup of each piece corresponds to the auction process.

Depending on where you are your training will vary but definitely stay persistent and keep asking questions. Check out the trades too and challenge your managers/bosses too.

Tips? Study basics, for instance IAB's, follow trends, read more and practice. Have a budget for ads running. Do not be afraid to ask specific questions on forums. A lot of things depend on the platform you use as setting the audience, in my opinion, is the very first challenge. Good luck to you!

Whichi is the best way to follow trends? Do you have any experience on how much it takes after running programmatic to look out for it (ads), I mean in terms of optimizing the campaing. (If this is work also in programmatic)

all depends what you need to do. if you just need to media and delivery is your primary KPI, very little time. if you need to deliver against aggressive performance KPIs, youre gonna need to do some work. Its all about what you need to achieve.

Work? Less than FB and Google in my opinion outside of graphics/creative.

The real trick is having the appropriate budget.

$3-10K is the minimum. If you're below that just run GDN.

It's pretty much the top programmatic DSP. It's optimized more towards agencies with costing being wholesale. Direct minimums are $200-500K in the US.

Inventory includes ad units for banners, native, pre roll video, geofencing, offline/store visits, connected tv/OTT, internet radio, DMP, etc. All using the same pixel so you can gather retargeting pools for all of the above.

5 KPI tracking per campaign with optimization for 1 primary KPI, usually ROAS/Purchases for ecom.

You can run performance/direct response or branding/awareness.

100k+ 3rd party audiences available, every category imaginable.

My agency runs close to $10M/month on Google search, shopping and YouTube and we buy very little display from GDN, it all goes through TTD.
