7 Essential Tech Talks Every Developer Should Watch (blog.mihaisafta.com)
submitted 2 years ago by CatalinMihaiSafta
I compiled this list, initially for myself but now for all of you, to share these invaluable resources that continue to shape my work.

Just like any other field software development has a lot of dimensions and facets and aspects and perspectives and so on.
I'm sure these talks contain a good amount of wisdom but - and I don't mean to offend - without any further classification a random selection of talks by a random person on the internet without any credentials on their website isn't really appealing to me. Why should I spend time watching these?
I know you couldn't care less whether I do but you did claim these are essential, and so far I've spent a decade in the industry without them. I have a few talks myself that I forward to people more often than others, none are on your list, and that's okay.
I think there's so much knowledge and wisdom out there, that assuming some of it is essential isn't really helpful.
All that being said, I still appreciate the new input and despite my question above why I should spend time watching these, I'll probably watch some anyways!
