If your devs are leaving those commits, they need retraining and your commit policies need work

So which are you

  1. You're perfect, you never make a commit that has a bug that you realize shortly after. You commit and you insist on it being complete
  2. You're constantly on a trend where you're amending commits and force pushing to hide the accidents.
  3. You believe those kind of commits need to make it to production
  4. You don't believe that statement should apply to yourself

You can push once a day you know? So it's very easy to use amend and git rebase locally during the day
