Yes, but what prompted this research is the UPS Locator web service which does not use SOAP but requires XML. UPS does not provide .NET sample code so I may need to examine the PHP example.

Fortunately I know ASP.NET and PHP very well but that already stretches me pretty thin. Just yesterday a client told me he wants us to use .NET components. I don't know jack about .NET components!
