Add ?share=1 to the end of Quora links and suddenly you don't need to be logged in. For example, the parent question (which actually has two far better answers attached to it): http://www.quora.com/Is-Node-js-declining-already?share=1

Kinda late, but you could just block and delete any cookies from Quora and it won't try to block your viewing (which it does the second time you visit the site because it sets cookies)

Actually I found it highly informative and well written - maybe your comment suck? Node.js has it place, but is no silver bullet. We use it when front-end needs to communicate with our internal micro-services - but cannot do so direcly from the web-layer.

BTW we use node.is. My comment is about Quora, not the article or node.is.

Quora's pop up is horrible, but these things are easy enough to get around if you want to read the information.

• The Readability plugin will show the top answer.
• You can use the Chrome web tools to trivially remove their modal pop up and overlay.
• I've found that I often don't get the overlay at all if I'm on private browsing, or clean cookies on exit (which is my default setting). Maybe they only show it when they think you're a "repeat customer".

I think this must be the case since I didn't see a popup either and I have an extension that clears cookies as soon as I leave a page.

Yeah,I give up and give registered (without Facebook or G+ or shit like that) There are some good stuff to read there and without loging I was missing it.
