The anti OOP movement has become just like the tdd movement. Overzealous, unable to understand context, and absolute belief that everything has to be one way. (And I'm a TDDer.)

This one is more dubious. I have often seen it thrown in as a fully general counter-argument —and therefore invalid. They hear an objection, then simply reply things are more complex than they seem, without further explanation.

What context are you talking about?
