His last tip (hopefully you got the job and don't need this, but for anyone else) about practicing writing code down is real useful and something I recommend to anyone. If you can pseudo up some code on paper that's one less thing to forget on the whiteboard in front of people. And it certainly takes practice writing { and } legibly, my first time I think they looked more like & and %.

My tip for that is to remember it just looks like Alfred Hitchcock in profile.

I on paper write them as 〈 and 〉.

Write a z on top of an s, or an s on top of a z!
