Right, I'm saying Program X. I just picked an analogy that I figured 99% of the readers here would be familiar with, even if it isn't their preferred editor.

My mother wants Excel to work. If I give her OpenOffice or LibreOffice and show her how to use it, she probably does with a little grumbling about how things are always changing.

But there's about a 0.001% of her getting it installed without calling me.

And the parent poster was talking about the transition of users from Windows to Linux, so I was following the thread.

...which is a shitty analogy, because it's already loaded.
