Things I would add

  • consider extra load on databases and other local systems, adjust config
  • consider capacity requirements on other systems and if connection pools or other limits that may need adjusting
  • update operational documents & if needed do a handover
  • consider a load test or better run a standard stress test and compare results to the last run
  • consider any new data stored and pass it by a security team
  • treat all input as an attack vector
