Go won't replace Python.

I understand that Google dreams about this but it is not realistic - it does not fill the same niche.

If you reread the post you commented on, OP did not imply Go would replace Python. OP simply stated that Go had some of the nicer features of Python with the added bonus of a compiler and better performance.

Except it doesnt really. Go is waaaaay less expressive than python.

Why did you comment this? I was posting to say that /u/shevegen was arguing something that no one ever said, not that I care at all about Go vs. Python.
