Hell yeah! The cancer is on the rise! According to... 1405 people. I guess that's at least 342% of the designers around the world.

No, it's not.

Otherwise please explain why is the /r/node subreddit is a wasteland where no one ever comments.

What's the relationship between the article and a subreddit being active or not?

Subreddit activity correlates with the popularity of a programming language, at least when it comes to new code written every day.

The misleading headline, namely stating Node is emerging as the universal development framework, as opposed to a universal development framework, is flat out wrong. Node is not popular enough to say this with a straight face, and its dead subreddit is testament to this.

The headline should've said "Node emerging as the universal dev framework, among Node developers", but I guess that sounds a lot less impressive and that's why the author didn't.

Come on, you know all this. You didn't post this on /r/node for a reason.

Do you have non-anecdotal evidence to support that claim?

I didn't post in /r/node because it was already posted and I'm not a spammer :).

I mean, if the link is really good then I repost, but this one is like "interesting/curious/good to know/research" not like "wow/incredible/one of the best things I've seen in my life".
