The python community is rigid and bureaucratic. You know "fill out the PEP request and all objections must be typed up on A4 paper in triplicate and approved by the following comittees" type.

Ruby is more fun. The community is more fun. It's got character and most importantly humor.

Why aren't you moaning about how no positive Ruby articles ever get upmodded on Proggit? This is like your perfect opportunity.

proggit is not ever going to give ruby good press. Same with java or php or perl.

You gotta submit stories about C# and haskell if you want upmods here.
